2011-2012 Doug and Grace Loughlin Scholarship Winner: Alicia Donahue

Alicia is passionate about helping children with disabilities. She helped raise an older brother afflicted with cerebral palsy and is a volunteer with the Marietta Memorial Hospital’s Pediatric Occupation, Physical and Speech Therapy Clinic.

Her parents dreamed of Alicia becoming the first in the family to obtain a college education. The recent passing of her father strengthened Alicia’s determination to turn dreams into reality.

Alicia has a cumulative 3.85 GPA and ranks 8 in her senior class. She plans to attend college this fall and pursue a career as an Occupational Therapist.
