There are over 35 million U.S. households of current and future college parents. College Parents of America seeks to understand, translate and make available information valuable to parents. The topics below represent areas of research that are important to college parents.
The pursuit and completion of a college education is complex. Access, affordability, health, saftey, student achievement and quality outcomes are concerns. Although we identify reliable sources of data, we recognize that many questions remain that require answers. Through research supported by your paid membership in College Parents of America, we hope to provide answers.
Research programs also help further understanding regarding how more students can afford a quality post-secondary education. We intend for this research to inform both the organization and its members on how to best provide resources for a college education.
Our society often thinks of college students as very healthy. While this is broadly true, it is also true that a significant portion of them have to deal with mental health issues and chronic health issues.
